We have established a collegial office work environment in downtown Hopkinton, MA. We may be relocating but we will remain in Hopkinton, MA area (or a surrounding town).
The Role
The Inside Technical Sales and Support Administrator will handle a wide variety of technical sales duties. These include:
- Review product specifications, drawings and RFQ's.
- Develop and transmit equipment quotations.
- Track and follow up open quotes, negotiate and secure orders.
- Use of pricing tools (Eagle, Bidman, C3) and printed price sheets.
- Develop and transmit marketing campaigns via ACT -- Swiftpage.
- Attend factory training twice per year (within US).
- Develop special reports (e.g. UPS equipment end user / order contacts for conversions).
- RMC website updates.
- Other duties upon request.
This role will also handle some administrative duties in coordination with the Sales Administrator. These include:
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, mail and faxes.
- Maintain files for customers, quotations, orders and factories.
- Log in and file order confirmations and invoices.
- Handle order status details, shipping info and tracking.
- Copy, file and distribute mail to Clark personnel.
- Admin support for outside sales.
- Maintain office supplies, literature, catalogs. Reorder as required.
- Assist with monthly reports, open quote logs.
- Enter orders on factories via order form or online tools (Eaton Vista).
- ACT data entry and data base maintenance.
- RPMS data entry and reports.
- Monthly commission reports.
- Create, enter and maintain POs and invoicing for RMC buy / sell.
- Other duties upon request.
This is a full-time position with a work schedule of 8:30am -- 5:00pm, Monday -- Friday. Overtime hours may be required on an as-needed basis.

• Must be able to communicate well (both verbally and in writing) with customers
• Must be able to work effectively in deadline-driven, results-oriented role
• Expertise and experience with configuring email interfaces including follow-up troubleshooting and testing
• Must be able to understand dashboard metrics, including abandonment rates, number of recoveries, value of recoveries
• Communicate best practices with respect to email campaigns, including design and content
• Able to multi-task and to handle multiple priorities, across different time zones and locations is essential (without dropping the ball, while maintaining a sense of humor!)
